I used to be a real NBA basketball fanatic. Now I'm a semi-fanatic. I've recently become a bit disenchanted with the NBA, but on the other hand I am encouraged to see European basketball flourish. Here's an excellent article on how UGLY the NBA has become - and this article was written two years ago - before it got really ugly.

My two favorite guys are both going through yet more changes this season. First, Tyus Edney after fleeing the non-NBA and playing last year for Zalgiris Kaunas, the best team in the Lithuanian Basketball League, he decided to stay in Europe and has signed for 2 more years with Benetton Treviso in Italy. The other team I will be following (for the first time!) this coming year is the the Toronto Raptors , because of spitfire Muggsy Bogues . I'm glad that they have decided to bring him in to teach the up and coming PGs what it's all about.

Tyus and Muggsy now each have their own "Taz's Page" because this one got too full! This is where the real action will be on my site this year - on Taz's Tyus Edney Page and Taz's Muggsy Bogues Page! Can you tell I like to watch the little guys who whirl around the court?
